Community Giving

Congratulations again to our Claims Processing group in Two Harbors for helping their community with two events in June.

First, the “Adopt-a-Family” garage sale in June raised $368 which will be used for their November shopping spree for the Salvation Army. Coordinators of this event were Sarah Hietala, Kristine Underdale, Marcy Bentler, and Michelle Carlson.

Second, the “Adopt-a-Roadway” event in June cleaned up about 2 miles worth of Highway 2 in Two Harbors. In coordination with the Lake County Highway Department, 10 people from the Claims group helped clean up their community! Sheila Bissell was the coordinator for this event.

FirstSolutions employees raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank

In June, 2009 the employees of FirstSolutions presented the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin with a $645 donation to be used in the ongoing fight against hunger. FirstSolutions would like to recognize Second Harvest for the admirable service they provide to this area and the nearly 40,000 residents in need.
